In and around the old goat barn there are many things to get one’s attention. The lens helps reduce the chatter of detritus, focusing on little islands of accumulated junk. Bomb crates and wood stoves sit together. A rack of antlers. Some acid-scarred pyrex. Lives now passed, which stir briefly through the sunlight tracing the contours of the room.
